The Barack H Obama Foundation is an approved trustee for Kiva Zip, a pilot project of Kiva.org, that offers 0% interest crowd-funded loans to under-served populations in Kenya and the U.S. Trustees are members of the community responsible for identifying, endorsing and mentoring entrepreneurs without access to capital. With trustee support, Kiva Zip is able to deliver alternative financing to hundreds of borrowers each month.
